Real Estate

Approximately 26 square miles, Arlington Virginia is the smallest self-governing county in the country. However, Arlington’s proximity to Washington DC, its access to major roads and public transportation, and its emphasis on smart growth have made it an incredibly popular place to live, work or visit.

Arlington housing is as varied and diverse as its population: while “urban villages” – densely populated residential and commercial areas – abound near Arlington’s 11 Metro Stations, the rest of the county is comprised primarily of well-established residential neighborhoods, of which there are nearly 50 in all. Typically bordered by one of Arlington’s public parks or 80+ miles of walking/biking trails, many local neighborhoods have a rich and storied background and appear in the National Registry of Historic Places.

Whether you are looking to buy, rent, or sell, the housing market in Arlington can be a confusing one. Your best bet is to become an informed consumer, and of course, seek expert advice and assistance!
